i ended up giving back and returning to my hyprland desktop, where i'm writing
this now, from neovim (did i mention i use arch)? i can't believe people still
subject themselves to these subpar experiences and aren't outraged about it.
frankly, if my only option was to use windows, i'd throw away my computer and
become a rancher or something. maybe i should do that anyways.
